This wonderful art print by Rebecca Puig of Sugarboo Designs combines two of her favorite subjects, dogs and her lovely words of wisdom to her children and really, to all of us. This happy brown dog sits and watches as his ball sits nearby as we are drawn to the words in the muted background that read: "Remember when you go out into the world to keep your eyes and ears wide open. And be kind. Love one another and take care of each other. Tell the truth. Always do your best. Listen to the big people and the little people. Exlore new paths and have fun! Get lots of rest. Eat good food so you may grow to be big and strong. Mind your manners and think before you speak. Protect little things. Know that you are loved like crazy. Give thanks for all of your blessings. Above all else love and you will do wonderful things in this world!" This art print is available in two sizes, 25" x 36" (small $400) and 35" x 46" (large $600), each framed in a rustic recycled wood frame. See his brother White Boy Dog for a different color mix.

The name “Sugarboo” is a combination of her nicknames for two of her favorite people – her young children, Jake and Sophie. Rebecca and her husband Rick started Sugarboo in 2002, with a mission of creating products that remind people of the ones they love – a mission accomplished in every lovingly crafted piece that bears the Sugarboo name.
Rebecca says that she’s inspired by many things, including, nature, antiques, children’s art and folk art – all of which are clear influencers in Sugarboo Designs. Evidenced in the entire line of handmade art, Rebecca enjoys interesting juxtapositions of the old and the new, soft and hard materials, and sentimental yet modern designs. The result is art that families will keep and cherish for years – likely, generations – to come.
